Sweet February

Hi everyone!
Hope you are having a great February. Im sorry to say that I had to withdraw from the art festival next week. I had some health issues and wasn't able to work for a few weeks but I will be there next year. Here's a little something I whipped up to make me feel better. Here's her progress. Time to prepare Art for 2015!!

I am so excited to announce that I was chosen to be in the 26th Annual St. Stephens Art Show and the Coconut Grove Arts Weekend!!!   It's coming up in February, on Valentine's Day weekend!!  I will make sure to share all of the info as the date approaches.
I have 2 themes in mind, now I just need to narrow it down to how many to make and in how many sizes. Need to start preparing this week to order supplies to make some props as well and begin the whole creating process. December is really looking great already. Here are a few heads in the very first stage and 2 a little further along.

I hope you all have a wonderful December!!

Winter Park and Inspiration!!

I visited Winter Park, Florida a few days ago and what an amazing place it is to visit. I try to go there at least once a year to unwind for a weekend. The stores are adorable and so are the houses and to top it all off....Rifle Paper Company is there too!!! The store is a dream (well it's my dream) and just stepping in there starts the creative juices flowing. I inhaled as much of the positive creative energy as I could and the went for a stroll and an amazing lunch at a turkish restaurant, they have a giant pita they bring with hummus, it's to cry for!! I know the weather has been crazy up north, I hope you're all safe and sound. Have a great weekend!!

Beautiful Decay

It's amazing how sometimes you can find beautiful art in the oddest places. These pictures are of the floor at a grocery store after the plastic tile has been ripped off and the old residue and glue remain. Wish I could do that to my walls!!

Hope you are all having a wonderful day!
